How To Install SAM Anti-Virus
------------------------------

1.  Install SAM Anti-virus 4.5.1 from Floppy disks
	-Do not scan the hard drive before installing
	-Skip Dial-in option
	-Restart machine after installation is complete

2.  Run SAM
	-Set Preferences
		-Disable Safezone
		-Set Prevention to NONE
		-Save the prefernces
	-Quit SAM

3.  Install SAM Intercept 4.5.3 Updater
	-Run "Install First - 2/1/98 Defs"
	-Restart holding the SHIFT key (this turns off the extentions)
	-Run "SAM Intercept 4.5.x-->4.5.3"
	-Restart

4.  Run Get Info on the SAM Application
	-Set Memory Requirements
		Minimum Size:	4096
		Perferred Size:	4096

5.  Update Virus Definitions (see Updating SAM Virus Definitions page)
	-Copy the latest versions of the SAM Virus Definitions and SAM Help files to the system folder
	-Restart

6.  Test Sam on a known infected file.
