Macintosh PowerBook 4300
Setting Up the Equipment:
Step #1: Connect, using the video cable supplied, the "Computer RGB In" port located on the side of the Projection Unit to the Monitor port located on the back of the PowerBook.
Step #2: Connect, using the serial mouse cable supplied, the "Mouse" port located on the side of the side of the Projection Unit to the Keyboard/Mouse port located on the left/rear corner of the PowerBook (This connection requires the use of the MAC adapter supplied between the serial cable and the Keyboard/Mouse port on the PowerBook).
Step #3: Connect the Projection Unit Power cable to the Projection Unit.
Step #4: Connect the PowerBook Power cable to the PowerBook power supply. Connect the PowerBook power supply cable to the PowerBook.
Starting the Equipment:
Step #1: Turn on the Projection Unit power switch located just above the power cord on the side of the Projection Unit.
Step #2: Press the ON/OFF button located on the top of the Projection Unit.
Step #3: Start the PowerBook by pressing the power button located in the upper-right corner of the PowerBook keyboard.
Toshiba Tecra & Gatway Solo Laptops
Setting Up the Equipment:
Step #1: Connect, using the video cable supplied, the "Computer RGB In" port located on the side of the Projection Unit to the Monitor port located on the back of the Laptop.
Step #2: Connect, using the serial mouse cable supplied, the "Mouse" port located on the side of the Projection Unit to the Keyboard/Mouse port located on the back of the Laptop
Step #3: Connect the Projection Unit Power cable to the Projection Unit.
Step #4: Connect the Laptop Power cable to the Laptop power supply. Connect the Laptop power supply cable to the Laptop.
Starting the Equipment:
Step #1: Turn on the Projection Unit power switch located just above the power cord on the side of the Projection Unit.
Step #2: Press the ON/OFF button located on the top of the Projection Unit.
Step #3: Start the Laptop by pressing the power button. The power button will is located in a slightly different place on each Laptop, but is generally located on the keyboard surface of the computer.
Miscellaneous Notes
Display Resolution:
The Sharp Projsection Unit will suport up to 1024 x 768 display resolution, however, the quality and readability of text will be decreased. For best results, use the Projection Unit at 800 x 600, or lower, display resolution.

Remote Control Features:
Mouse Functions - Mouse functions for both the Macintosh PowerBook and the PC Laptops can be performed using the Projection Unit Remote Control.
Laser Pointer - The remote control has a built-in laserlight pointing device. To use the laser pointer, press the Laser/Menu button on the top of the remote control. When this button is pressed and held, the laser pointer shines on the surface at which the remote control is pointed.
