Chest of Drawers #1

Paul and his wife, Angela, built this chest of drawers for Angela. It was designed to match a tall chest that they built several years ago. This type of chest is usually called a "double dresser" or a "mule chest". Its simply two low chests of drawers attached side-by-side to create a larger chest. The case, top, and drawer boxes are constructed of MDF. The drawer fronts and corner trim are solid pine. The dust dividers are MDF frames with plywood panels. The MDF top is edged in solid Oak for durability. The top is removable and the chest splits into two units for easier moving. The overall dimension are 62w x 39h x 22d. The finish is gloss black latex.
