Entertainment Center #1
We (mostly Paul) built this entertainment center to go with Paul's new 32" TV. It is the new center piece for his living room and rightly so! Its a mamoth piece of furniture at 72"w x 60"h x 24"d. The case is constructed of 3/4" oak plywood and the doors and face frames are solid red oak. There are only six visable fasteners and these have been pluged and stained to match. The rest is held together by biscuits, glue, and will power... The finish is Olympic Red Oak with a polyurethane top coat.
Entertainment Center #2
I built this entertainment center as a Christmas gift for my younger brother. He had some very nice electronics and no where to store them. So, I built this cabinet to hold his 25" TV, Dual Deck VCR, DVD, CD, Stereo Reciever, and Sony PlayStation. The TV rests on a stationary self dadoed into the side panels and the smaller components rest on adjustable shelves. The case and shelves are made of 3/4" birch plywood with a solid clear pine face frame. The top is birch plywood with a pine border. The over-all demensions are 28"w x 52"h x 22"d. The finish is Minwax Cherry stain with a hand-rubbed satin polyurethane top coat.
