Since I have had a number of calls, I wanted to share the latest information I received from Pastor Bill about Bobbie Goodin's surgery. Bobbie made it through surgery very well. In fact the surgery took less time than the doctor expected. He took six screws out of her back and replaced them with 13 new screws. The doctor hopes she will have better range of motion and stability. Before the surgery, the doctor thought she might be in the hospital 10 days. Her address is as follows:

    Bobbie Goodin
    Barnes-Jewish Hospital South, Room 7493
    One Barnes-Jewish Hospital Plaza
    St. Louis, MO 63110

  • Please keep the family of Goldie Hudson in your prayers. Goldie passed away yesterday, March 7th, at Walker Nursing Home. Graveside services are pending.

  • Judy and Larry Armstrong have ask that we add Linda Strong to our prayers. Linda has breast cancer.

  • Please add Pastor Bill Braswell's father, Taylor Braswell, to your prayers. Taylor fell Saturday evening in his garage. He is in the hospital in Belleville.

  • Please continue to keep Bobbie Goodin in your prayers. She may be facing additional surgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital tomorrow.

  • Please keep Lil Terwilliger in your prayers.  Lil is in Memorial Hospital.

  • Please continue to keep Judy Schaeffer in your prayers.  She was just released from Memorial Hospital on Friday.

  • Please keep the family of Judy Schaeffer in your prayers.  Judy passed away last night, March 8, 2010.  Arrangements are pending.

  • Christy Brake emailed today to say that her mother, Bobbie Goodin, is doing better.  Her doctor thinks the pain is from inflammation and will lessen over time.  At this point the doctor doesn't think she will need more surgery.  If all continues to go well, Bobbie may be home by next week.

  • Toby Brake will have knee surgery tomorrow.  Please continue to pray for him.

Anyone who would like to be placed on the Prayer List or taken off the list, please call the office at 452-3534.
